The F80EXR model is one of the latest releases from Fujifilm’s FinePix series of digital cameras. Fujifilm integrates all of its latest technology to produce one of the top 5 digital cameras on today’s consumer market. Let’s skip the common technical details and rather focus on this camera’s unique and innovative features.
The FUJIFILM FinePix F80EXR is equipped with a Super CCD EXR image sensor that offers cutting edge photography. Super CCD EXR is fresh technology straight out of Fujifilm’s labs, and it has the perfect formula for the best possible image capturing. The concept behind this new technology is the ability to automatically detect a scene, set the proper settings, and capture a “natural” image. Each of the sensor’s three components is responsible for different settings such as resolution, sensitivity, and dynamic range.
All you have to do is set the dial to EXR AUTO, point the camera, and let EXR technology do the rest. There is no need to toggle through all the scene modes to find the perfect settings. Whether you are shooting a night scene or a bright landscape, the FUJIFILM FinePix F80EXR automatically adjusts to recreate a scene “as your eyes see it.” Images can be captured in resolutions of up to 12.0 Megapixels and with 10x optical zoom.
The FUJIFILM FinePix F80EXR can also capture HD movies in 720p resolution. The videos can then be played back on any HDTV by connecting the camera via a mini HDMI cable. The camera even allows you to record underwater with its water shooting mode, but you’d have to seal the camera inside a waterproof case, which is sold separately.
You can store thousands of images and plenty of movie time on SD and SDHC memory cards. The camera can record up to 2GB on SD cards, and 8GB on SDHC cards. Style is also an important part of FUJIFILM FinePix F80EXR design, as it’s available in black, silver, pink, and red colors to suit your mood and personality!
When it comes to Digi Cameras, I’ve been a Fufi fan for as long as I can remember. I read a number of reviews about the Fuji F80EXR, including this one, and decided it was time for an upgrade.
The pictures you can achieve with this camera are fantastic and the cost is 1/4 of what you’d pay for and SLR.
